Your money never passes through us.

Every sale is paid by an acquirer or payment institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil, straight into an account in your name. Diamond Pay runs the checkout, the sign-up and the technology in between.

The customer pays. An acquirer or payment institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil processes the sale and pays the merchant’s share straight into an account in the merchant’s name. Diamond Pay provides the checkout and the technology and runs the sign-up, without touching the money.

Money Information Diamond Pay does not receive, hold or pass on sales proceeds. We are a payment facilitator (a subcredenciadora, under Brazilian rules): not a bank, an acquirer or a payment institution.

  1. Reviewed before selling

    Every business — including each seller on a platform — is reviewed and registered with the acquirer under its own name and CNPJ or CPF.

  2. Your name on the sale

    Your business name appears on the checkout and on your customer’s card statement.

  3. Brazil, in reais

    For businesses established in Brazil, with a CNPJ or CPF. Companies based abroad sell through their company established here.

  4. Clear limits

    Betting, adult content, crypto-assets and unauthorized financial products stay out, along with anything the card brands or Brazilian law restrict.

Bought from a store that sells with Diamond Pay?

  1. Talk to the store

    Its name is on your receipt and on your statement. Returns, delivery and refunds are handled by the store.

  2. 7 days to change your mind

    Online purchases can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase or delivery, with a full refund to the original payment method (art. 49, Brazilian Consumer Protection Code).

  3. Still unresolved?

    Write to ops@doublediamond.digital with the store’s name, the date and the amount.
